Little by little, the culture of healthy eating began to be established in Chile, especially to take care of the health of the little ones. Moving away from childhood obesity rates is one of the biggest challenges that public health must face every day.

A relevant aspect is that the correct combination of foods must be achieved. For example, you should never mix citrus fruits with sweet fruits.

This juice will detoxify the body, eliminate toxins, help digestion and provide vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, fiber, antioxidants and chlorophyll. The latter is only found in green leafy vegetables and is extremely good for health since it has the composition most similar to the hemoglobin in the body, which is responsible for oxygenating the blood, so it is often called “green blood”.

Among the benefits are: oxygenation, improves blood circulation, purifies organs, helps eliminate toxins from the body and even destroys pathogenic bacteria, fungi and cancer cells.

Here is a combination for a Green Juice:

  • 1 green apple
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 cup pineapple
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1 piece of ginger

Put all the ingredients in the juicer and enjoy!

Tips:

  • In adults ideal to take it in the mornings while fasting, since it is the moment where the body absorbs better all the nutrients.
  • In children it can be in replacement of collation.
  • About half an hour later take breakfast.
  • Ingest it as soon as it is prepared, because if the juice is left in contact with the air for a long time it will lose its properties due to oxidation.
